Staying Safe Online

Keeping our children safe on line is becoming an ever larger problem. Luckily there is lots of support available to help keep children safe online. Sometimes our children can access things we don't even know about, and in this modern age most of websites and games sites that our children access have chat, or other options, that we may not want children to access. 
 

If you are concerned about what your child is viewing, or interacting with, online please talk to your child's class teacher or use one of the resources below.

CEOP Education - National Crime Agency's website providing education for families on how to protect children online

Internet Matters - Advice on setting up restrictions parental controls on most devices and apps.

Government Advice - Government advice on keeping children safe online for parents and carers.

Childnet - Offers a toolkit to support parents and carers to keep children safe online, including setting boundaries, accessing help and support and starting discussions with children.

UK Safer Internet Centre - Tips, advice, guides and resources to help keep children safe online

Childline - Aimed at children but contains lots of simple explanations about online safety

NSPCC - The NSPCC website with lots of resources to support keeping children safe online
