Key Stage 4 Courses & Accreditation
At Dove House we recognise that our learners are individuals and learn in different ways. We understand that one single route through Key Stage 4 is becoming less appropriate to their varying needs. In response to this we have carefully designed a pathway approach (we look at each cohort separately and where appropriate we also introduce different Pathways with a specific focus) to offer each learner a route which will best meet their learning styles, engage them and, of course, help to gain the necessary skills/qualifications to prepare them for their future.

Foundation Learning Pathway have been highlighted as needing a little further support to help develop their independence, confidence and social skills. Pupils on this pathway will be in a small nurturing group where the curriculum is very broad, practical and focused on building skills for independent living. Pupils will generally work towards Entry Level Qualifications where appropriate in the core subjects
